Americas 2026 CAS Leaders Workshop

Registration is now officially open for the BKR CAS Foundations Workshop, taking place October 22–23, 2026, in Dallas, immediately ahead of the Worldwide/Americas Conference.

Working together, BKR, CPA.com and our new Americas CAS Practice Group Co-Chairs, Vicki Kosuda of Nisivoccia and Paige Kent of Ary Roepcke Mulchaey, have developed a focused two-day workshop curriculum for CAS practice leaders, service line leaders and firm leaders responsible for Client Advisory Services.

CAS Foundations: Structure the Practice, Lead the Team, and Advise with Impact

Facilitated by Kate Serpe and Amy Bridges of CPA.com, the two-day program will focus on the leadership and development side of CAS and the foundational decisions that help shape a successful practice.

Participants will explore:

• Marketplace trends, CAS definitions and benchmark survey data
• CPA.com’s CAS roadmap and early-stage priorities
• Using AI to help reshape the CAS practice
• Defining a clear CAS vision and mission
• Selecting an initial client niche and identifying the ideal client profile
• Structuring the team and defining roles and responsibilities
• Leveraging work and developing and upskilling staff
• Balancing practice leadership with ongoing client responsibilities
• Working effectively with firm leadership and other stakeholders
• Developing stronger advisory skills throughout the CAS team

The program will also address how better questioning can strengthen client relationships and help build an advisory mindset at every level of the practice.
